This trip was so much fun. First, we were celebrating that my grandfather was out of the hospital and able to join us. We were so worried that was not going to be a possibility. Second, I saw Iowa through my brother Steve's girlfriend's eyes . . . the beauty of all the cornfields, crops, rolling hills, etc. It's the small things we take for granted that "city folks" have never seen :) I should have taken pictures of my Gma Talty's town of Corning. I couldn't believe all of the flooding. The fairgrounds were under water, all of the fields were flooded, etc. Very sad.
